Ren Vita Mineral Oil 6

I’ve been on the hunt for a good facial oil for a while now. I love a nice oil to massage into my skin as part of my night time routine ( the only time its acceptable to have a chip pan face, there’s no way I’d get away with it during the day) but being naturally oily it can be tricky to pick the right one that won’t be too heavy but keep me nice and hydrated during the night.

I’ve been trying lots of products from Ren recently and I’ve been really impressed with them so my interest was definitely piqued when I spotted this. Anything with the word Omega in it gets my attention; we’re constantly told we should be ingesting the stuff so it can only be a good thing to slather all over your face too, right? If Omega oils (It’s got 3, 6 and 9) don’t do it for you this has also got Rosehip Oil and Vitamin E. It’s very lightweight and sinks into the skin quickly, it feels more along the lines of a serum than a heavy oil. I use it at night under a light Olay night cream. It does have quite a strong scent but it’s not too offensive.

My skin feels incredibly soft the morning after using this and looks much brighter and healthier. It doesn’t clog up my pores at all or cause breakouts and to my delight it doesn’t affect my shiny-ness during the day. This is one all skin types can use, it’s really hydrating so even the drier among us will enjoy it.

To sum up, I love it. It’s exactly what I want from a facial oil. If you’re not a fan of weighty, greasy oils but want that extra boost of hydration in your routine this is definitely worth a try. You can get it for €28 from Cloud10 and they’ve got free shipping on orders over €15. Quick, go!
