DSC_0064 Spring is finally here! I can’t tell you how happy this makes me, I am so ready to move on from the dark nights and cold weather and into skirts and long, bright evenings.  And with this transition comes my February Favourites. I actually don’t have that much to share this month as I haven’t really been using too many new products recently but here are just a few things I’ve been loving. Enjoy 🙂  Woodwick Candle PiccoloLovely I am so in love with these WoodWick candles! I got one as a Christmas present and had to get a new one as soon as I had burned it all. I love the cracking sound they make as they burn. Mine is Vanilla Bean and although I love the smell it makes me want to eat cookies every time, it smells delicious! These don’t come cheap, though, and will set you back around €30. They are available from most Eason and Yankee Candle stores.  DSC_0040 I gothis Armani Si perfume as a gift from my boyfriend (n’aww) and I haven’t really wanted to wear much else since. I have seen better packaging on other bottles but the smell is a real winner. I think it smells so classy and elegant, I love wearing it on evenings out.

Lavera Honey Moments PiccoloLovely

I also received the Lavera Honey Moments body lotion as a present at Christmas.  I got a Honey Moments shower gel with it too.I had never heard of the brand before but have since seen it in plenty of health shops around Dublin. All of their products are organic and contain plant ingredients. The body lotion is made with organic milk and honey. It’s nourishing and dries in really quickly too. I love the smell of these but if you’re not a fan of honey it’s probably not for you as it is quite strong. It has quite a medicinal smell and reminds me a bit of cough syrup or something but I really like it. I prefer to use this at night, right before I get into bed as the scent is really lovely and relaxing. I will definitely be trying out more of the Lavera products when this is used up.

I’ve been really liking the L’oreal Skin Perfection moisturiser this month. I picked it up in Boots when it was on special offer for around €12 but it is usually €18.99. I had already used the serum and micellar solution from the line and liked them so when I ran out of my usual Vichy Normaderm I decided to give this a go. It does what it says on the tin really; my pores and shine have been kept under control and skin texture is looking good. Its a pretty basic moisturiser for oily skin but it gets the job done.

Rimmel’s Wake Me Up concealer has been another favourite of mine, I’ve used it pretty much on a daily basis since I bought it. I does a great job of brightening the under eye area and making me look a bit more alive in the mornings. I use the colour ivory and its just right for my casper-pale face. The only thing about this concealer is that it is a light coverage so if you have dark circles it will struggle to cover them- on days I need the extra help I use a bit of Mac Studio Finish Concealer before I apply this. It’ll set you back around €6.99

Super LinerDSC_0051

L’oreal get another nod from me this month for their Super Liner Brow Artist pencil. This makes filling in brows a doddle, which I love when I’m running out the door to work. It’s a double-ended pencil with wax on one end which helps to keep the brows in place all day. These retail at around €8 I’m using 04 Dark Brunette. Love it.

I’d love to know what your favourites have been this month, let me know in the comments!
